Dan's Diary: Week One

Monday the 3rd of April this skinny lad (Ben I find out) picks me up from O'Hare airport to start the next 6 months of my bombers scholarship. Plugger's house is very welcoming and he puts on a spread fit for a king (pasta n toast...) and am left to settle in.

The week is as boring as one could get until the excitement machine (Peter Kerr) takes me to Madison. A very cool place.

Friday was my first school clinic. I met a my first "character" in the club by the name of Rhyno. The kids were very active and it was a great day for myself personally to be involved with the kids. I really enjoyed it, and can't wait to do it again. (also, the mums are hot...)

Sunday was my first training and the skills were indescribable. Many of the Americans surprised me with their style and skill. For me, it was the personalities of the training that stood out as it really shows there is a real team atmosphere around the group. Colin will be a great coach as the season kicks off and hopefully he can lead us to the next step; and that was my first week.
