Bombers Busy July 4 Weekend
The Milwaukee Bombers have been invited to participate in one of the largest July 4 parades in the state of Wisconsin.

(Milwaukee, WI) - The Milwaukee Bombers have been invited to participate in one of the largest July 4 parades in the state of Wisconsin.  After participating in the Wauwatosa July 4 parade for the last 2 years, the Bombers have moved west to Waukesha, the site of the 2005 USFooty National Championships in October.  This is an exciting opportunity for the Bombers to showcase the club and the sport of Australian Rules Football in front of thousands of spectators and a live television audience.  Directly after the parade, the Bombers will play a full metro footy match at Frame Park for the crowd of parade watchers as they relax on this great American holiday.

The action for the Milwaukee Bombers does not stop there because for the sixth consecutive year, the Bombers have been invited to participate at Summerfest on Milwaukee's downtown lakeshore.  Summerfest is the worlds largest annual Music Festival, drawing over 1 million visitors for the 10 day event.  The Bombers were very excited to learn that they were given two performances this year on the Sentry SportsZone Sports Stage.  Many of the demonstrations that are put on at that stage are by the local professional teams, such as the NBA Milwaukee Bucks or the 2005 MISL Champion Milwaukee Wave.  At these performances, the Milwaukee Bombers introduce to fans of all ages the sport of Aussie Rules and even get all the kids in the audience involved by showing them how to kick and handpass the footy.  This is a great community relations activity and a tremendous opportunity for the Bombers to get more exposure leading up to the 2005 National Championships.
