Milwaukee Bombers

(Wauwatosa, WI) - Snow and 20 degree temperatures could not stop the Milwaukee Bombers in the 14th annual Blarney Run on March 12, 2005 (did you see Mike in shorts!). The Bombers did their best to promote the sport and their colors in spite of the unseasonably harsh weather. The Bombers brought along a footy for the run, handballing and bouncing along the entire 5K (3.1 mile) route, which got the attention of most runners and spectators. Impressive times were posted by these hearty bunch of teammates as they trekked the winding course together as a team. One must wonder, if cruel conditions like this cannot control their love for the sport, what will?

2005 Wauwatosa 5K Blarney Run
