Milwaukee Bombers

Shae McNamara, "the American Pie," Milwaukee native, and first American to be signed to the International Rookie List on any AFL team, made an appearance on Milwaukee's local tv morning show, The Morning Blend. 

Born and raised in the US, Shae McNamara played college basketball at New York's Marist UCollege then he continued his sport in the German league. After one year, the 6' 8" McNamara was scouted by the Sydney Swans, one of the sixteen teams of the most popular football code in Australia. The 24yr-old was so psyched about this foreign sport, a game that he knew nothing about, that he posted his own audition video on YOUTUBE! Because of his brilliance, he caught the eye another professional club, the COLLINGWOOD MAGPIES of Melbourne. This organization is probably the most popular of Australia indicated by them having the largest fan base and existing club memberships. After weeks of trial in the US and OZ, the AMERICAN PIE, what the Aussies have nicknamed him, is the first American to have ever been signed on the INTERNATIONAL ROOKIE LIST!
