Scholarship Program

The Milwaukee Bombers Scholarship Program, since 2004, has provided an opportunity for Australian nationals to play Australian Rules football in the United States. Scholarship players also experience living and traveling in the US. Players are hosted for the duration of the season ending with the National tournament in October.

Instantly making 40 odd new friends in a foreign country was fantastic and added to that you get to play footy!!! All the people within the club are fantastic and go out of their way to make you feel a part of it. I must say my time in Milwaukee was fantastic and I had an absolute ball, it was play hard on field and play just as hard off the field. - Peter Apostolidis 2008

My time playing footy in Milwaukee was an awesome experience. From the great people we met around the club, to the club functions and messy nights around town, not to mention an interstate footy trip every other week. A great way to travel and play footy around the Midwest. I loved it so much i went back again last season, who knows about 2010! - Rob Humphrys 2008
