Milwaukee Bombers Join Forces with the Wauwatosa Recreation Department to Bring USfootyKids to Milwaukee

(Milwaukee, WI) - The Milwaukee Bombers are proud to announce that the Wauwatosa Recreation Department will be holding a five-week program highlighting USfootyKids. USFootyKids is the US version of Auskick, Australia's most popular children's program. Using sequential learning steps, children are taught the skills and rules of the game while at the same time learning all the great aspects of team sport, such as friendship, health, fitness and community.

The Bombers have developed a relationship with the Tosa Rec. Department over the last 12 months, beginning with a special footy day at one of the regions elementary schools. The Bombers participated in the annual Independence Day Parade and were a crowd favorite with their long drop punts. A special USfootyKids introductory program was offered as part the Rec. Departments Family Fun Day Activities during the larger Independence Day festivities.

The relationship has culminated in the special offering of the formal USfootyKids program. Three sessions of the program will be offered for ages ranging from 8 to 16. Both boys and girls are encouraged to participate in the sessions.

The program will be taught by the coaching staff and players from the Bombers. For more information contact the Wauwatosa Recreation Department (www.tosarec.com) or the Milwaukee Bombers (www.milwaukeebombers.com).
