Wrap-up: Aussiefest
Aussiefest was a great success this year. We had over 50 people in attendance young and old, Aussies, American partners and several half breeds (AUS/US offspring).

(Big Cedar Lake, Slinger, WI) - Aussiefest was a great success this year. We had over 50 people in attendance young and old, Aussies, American partners and several half breeds (AUS/US offspring).

Several new families came this year which was wonderful.  They mixed well with the original members of the club .  Through word of mouth and networking we are a growing club.  Aussies are coming out of the woodwork everywhere.  Remember to pass on details of any new Australians you meet to Robyn Friedrichs so they can be added to our invitation list.

The sun shone down for us.  The barbie was fired up and then young and old, Aussies and Americans gathered together for a game of cricket.

The day took a turn for the worse when Plugger decided he would go for a swim and sported his speedo.

One of our new members, Peter Tuddenham, has opened a bar called Kangaroo K in Marion, WI.  We will be planning a road trip to visit this establishment in October or early November.  Details will be posted and emailed as soon as we have them.

Enjoy the rest of the summer.

Cheers, Robyn (Aussie Club Social Director)
