On Saturday June 21 the Milwaukee Bombers narrowly defeated Ohio Valley in a very fast-moving and entertaining game. Although the scores were close at half time, the Ohio Valley looked like they had the measure of the Bombers with the home advantage. However, Milwaukee piled on six unanswered goals, including three consecutive goals by star forward Andy Ciganek, for a total of 7.2 to 2.1 in the third quarter. |

 The Big Apple? Your Milwaukee Bombers made their first trip of the season to New York last weekend. With only a squad of 10, the day of footy was relegated to a series of three ‘friendlies.’ While this meant a casual day for our great game, the Bombers showed a bit of the magic that led them to the Div. I Grand Final just a few years ago. The format for the day was three, 40-minute games. The first, a propped-up Milwaukee squad v. NY then, an interclub NYC match, all finishing off with Milwaukee v. NY again. |
