On Saturday, March 29th we kicked off the Brewer's Fundraiser for our first scheduled game of the season. Overall, it was a great success as we were commended for "doing a great job", so much so that we actually had one of our volunteers go help another group that was struggling to keep up. We took orders, ran the registers, cooked the brats and even had some time to sneak out to catch a bit of the game. Admittedly, a lot of us thought it was going to be pretty tough, but it was a lot of fun and very doable. It was a great first step for us in what looks to be a very promising fundraiser for the team. |
